» Bharat Mandir : This temple is devoted to Lord Narayana. It is one of the oldest temple built near Triveni Ghat. » Lakshman Jhoola : Situated 3 km from the North of downtown Rishikesh. The suspension bridge is a spot where laxman performed his Tapa(penance). Till 1889, it was just a hanging rope way without pillars and was rebuilt with iron ropes in 1939. It is believed that Lord Rama and Lakshman took a bath to wash the sin incurred by them for killing Ravana, who was a Brahmin.
» Triveni Ghat : The main bathing site where the three rivers -Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati flow together. Daily in the morning and in the evening Maha aarti is performed when hundred of Diyas float along with flowers.
» Neel Kanth Maha dev Temple : Situated at the 5,500 feet above the sea level. This is an ancient temple where Shiva drank the venom churned out of the cosmic oceans.
