It is an impressive bungalow, earlier owned by Raja Jai Singh Amber of
Jaipur. It now enjoys a holy status of the holy shrine called Gurudwara
Bangla Sahib. The Eight Sikh Guru Harikisha Dev resided here in 1664. During
his stay, the guru served the victims of cholera and Chicken Pox
Within the Complex

The large main hall is open Central shrine. The Gurudwara complex houses a
high secondary school, Baba Baghel Singh Museum, a library and a hospital.
Gurudwara has a holy trough that is supposed to have Amrit or nector and it
is believed to cure the diseases of the sick. It has a sarovar where a
people usually take a holy dip and pray to guru.
» A Hospital : The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee
runs a hospital in the basement of the Gurudwara building.
» Art Gallery : The art gallery is located in the basement of
Gurudwara and houses paintings depicting historical events connected with
Sikh history. Named after the Sikh General Sardar Bhagel Singh who
controlled the construction of nine Sikh shrines in Delhi in 1783 during the
time of Shah Alam II.

The popular Bangla Sahib is located in Cannaught Place, close to the famous
Hanuman mandir.
