ISKCON Temple  Bangalore

Dedicated to Lord Krishna, around 40 ISKCON temples has been constructed by the association. The temples follow the ancient Vaishnava tradition and philosophy, which greatly influence the life of its believers. Also known as Hare Krishna temples, ISKCON are beautiful decorated with paintings of Russian artists. The framed pictures represents the glorious past of Lord Krishna and Radha; Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, brother Laxman, ardent devotee Hanuman and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

ISKCON temples are popular for religious activities like Kirtan, Aarti, Pravachan, Prasadam and other ritual programmes. The temples are highly visited during the festival of Krishna Janmashtami, which take place every year on the eighth day (Ashtami) in the month of Sravana.
